An Art Deco glass terrestrial globe lamp by the Lucas company, automotive and aeronautical engineering company of Birmingham.
Papered globe with chromed metal, set over a bakelite base.
Small numbers of unique items such as this were made as gifts for special clients. Impressed to the base with the company logo and the words: Joseph Lucas company limited, designed and manufactured in our own works.
