Date: Circa 1950
Lê Thy was a Vietnamese painter born in 1919 in the souther part of Vietnam in Cholon. Originally named Tran Minh Thi, he became a highly respected lacquer masters in Vietnam until his sudden and mysterious death at the peak of his career in 1961.
